Dear friend and Brother,
The people of Ghana have heard the magnificent statement you made in Rabat concerning our common ideal of independence and unity for the Continent of Africa. As far as we are concerned, it was a source of joy and encouragement. I have also had two letters from Morocco, through Habib. The second (can’t read) to have taken a long time, since it reached me after Dr.Khatib had left Accra. However, I am taking the necessary steps to ensure that a quick solution can be found to this matter.
Like yourself, I firmly believe that with sincerity, devotion and God’s help, miracles can be achieved.
I am sending my Ambassador, Dr.J.E.Bosman, to Nouackchott with an invitation to President Ould Dadda, whom I am asking kindly to come to Accra between the 27th and 31st of October. I sincerely before that date, perhaps By Ghana Airways on the 26th of October. The necessary instructions in connection with that journey have been given to my Ambassador at Dakar.
I note with very lively satisfaction the steps you are taking to spread news about the contribution that I am making by God’s grace to the renaissance of our common homeland, Africa. Further, your desire to make a tour throughout Africa to spread our common ideal will be a worthy contribution, especially as it will follow the publication in Arabic, English and French of the book to which reference has been made earlier.
When next I see you, I shall discuss it all with you. In the meantime, please accept my warmest and most fraternal greetings.
