Sukina Pilgrim is a Poet, Spoken-Word artist, Playwright, Workshop Facilitator and Event Organiser and co-founder of ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐จ๐ฉ ๐๐ฎ๐จ, ๐๐จ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ ๐.
She has facilitated creative writing workshops across the world empowering communities to use the written word as a tool for dialogue and as a means for accessing their authentic voice. She has launched a workshop series called The Art of Speaking from the Heart that she has delivered poetry workshops across the UK and in countries such as Belgium, Sweden, Switzerland, America, South Africa, Bosnia, Spain and Turkey.

She has played an intrinsic role within the British Muslim creative communities as a performer and events organiser and has created platforms for many national and international Muslim artists to express themselves and launch their careers. She was the Project Manager of a Muslim Sufi centre in London called Rumiโs Cave where she organised Islamic courses, lectures, workshops and retreats.

In ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ณ๐๐๐ซ๐ screened a documentary about her group called Hip Hop Hijabis.
Sukina made her theatre debut in 2016 in a production called Malcolm X at the Royal Flemish Theatre in Brussels which was critically acclaimed and her first play will be premiered at the Theatre in 2020.
In 2017 she delivered a Tedx Talk on the healing potential of poetry.
